SHOW NOTES: First Appearence of KVHW with Steve Kimock - Lead Guitar, Bobby Vega- bass, Alan Herz - Drums, Ray White - Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

KVHW was an American rock band that was active and toured nationally from January 1998 through December 1999. The band's name came from the last names of its four members: Steve Kimock (guitar), Bobby Vega (bass), Alan Hertz (drums), and Ray White (vocals and guitar). However, due to personal issues, Ray White was replaced by other musicians for some shows: Terry Haggerty replaced him from May 13, 1999 through July 5, 1999, and Ike Willis and Chip Roland sat in for some shows without White in December 1999. Jimmy Herring also filled in for several shows following White's departure. Haggerty continued to play with the band through October 3, 1999. White was kicked out of the band after failing to show up for the December 17, 1999 show.

The band's repertoire mostly consisted of original songs, songs from Steve Kimock's previous bands, and a number of covers of Frank Zappa songs.
